Evaluation Metrics

Every product in the EMINO portfolio is evaluated against a core set of metrics that determine resource allocation, tier classification, and strategic decisions.

Primary Health Indicator
MRR

Monthly Recurring Revenue

The lifeblood of any SaaS business. MRR is the predictable revenue generated every month from active subscriptions. Growth in MRR is the primary indicator of portfolio health.

Target: Growing MoM
Efficiency Signal
CAC

Customer Acquisition Cost

The total cost of acquiring a new customer — including marketing, sales, and onboarding. A decreasing CAC signals improving efficiency and product-market fit.

Target: Declining over time
Unit Economics Core
LTV

Lifetime Value

The total revenue a customer generates over their entire relationship with the product. The LTV:CAC ratio is the single most important unit economics metric.

Target: LTV:CAC > 3:1
Growth Foundation
RET

User Retention Rate

The percentage of users who remain active over time. Retention is the foundation of compounding growth — without it, growth is just a leaky bucket.

Target: > 85% monthly

CHN

Churn Rate

The rate at which customers cancel or stop using the product. Reducing churn is often more valuable than increasing acquisition.

Target: < 3% monthly
Leverage Metric
SCL

Scalability Logic

The degree to which revenue can grow without proportional cost increases. True scalability means 10x users does not mean 10x cost.

Target: Sub-linear cost curve
3:1
LTV : CAC

The Golden Ratio

LTV:CAC > 3:1

This is the minimum threshold for a scalable SaaS product. If a product can't achieve this ratio within 18 months, it triggers a strategic review — optimize, pivot, or retire.
